Wonderful Work Moments from 2020
Maybe 2020 hasn’t been quite the year we were all expecting. So despite all the negatives, we wanted to focus on the wonderful work moments to come from this year.
To celebrate the good things to come from 2020, we asked people to share how colleagues have kept their spirits up, who helped them cope through each lockdown, what people had done to raise morale and any other wonderful moments which made them smile.
We’ve compiled our favourites here on this article, but you can see all of the stories on our LinkedIn and Instagram accounts or by searching #WonderfulWorkMoments – feel free to share some of your own!

Hidden blessings
By Paula J.
Not sure it’s wonderful, but I did have to go to the office as my laptop broke and as it was lockdown, my daughter came too. I had a cereal bar on my desk which she insisted on eating. She instantly looked odd… Fast forward three hours and she was in casualty after she had breathing difficulties, and we found out she had a nut allergy! We didn’t know!!

Sometimes it’s the simple things. My happiest moment was just when all were allowed back in the workplace and we were able to get back to making each other laugh again. So the simple moment of walking in the door, and there they all were.
2020: The year of virtual coffees

2020 has been the year of virtual coffees, strengthening bonds further within our team and appreciating what unexpected treats fit through the letterbox! We've enjoyed cocktails, retro sweets, flowers and optimistic quotes on postcards to each other. Also, it's been fun seeing each other’s pets, children and the weird and wonderful things in each other’s homes!
