Introduction

With living costs soaring, Corporate Travel Management knew they needed to provide their team with extra support. They wanted to create a benefits package that not only addressed immediate needs but could also evolve alongside the company’s future growth.

“We were talking about our reward and recognition program, the CTM STAR Awards, and how we could streamline the process, as the current process involved a great deal of administration for the team.”

Launching Celebration hub enabled them to create a centralised system for recognition, run regular incentives, and generate over 1,800 acknowledgements in the last 12 months.

“Since [launching Celebration hub], engagement on the platform has just skyrocketed. Everybody really loves it.

“There's such an impact on engagement when it comes to recognition — both peer-to peer and manager-to-employee — that absolutely blew up on the platform.”

“Staff have been participating in meditation and really enjoying the sleep stories. [The content] is there when you need it, which I think is really helpful and it's something unique we can offer here at CTM.”

Evolving HR functions

Another key goal for Corporate Travel Management was to reduce administrative tasks - aligning perfectly with their Evolve value.

“We have a goal of reducing manual processes and embracing automation wherever possible. The simplicity and ease of using the perks made a significant difference from an administrative standpoint.”

By creating a more efficient, agile system through Perkbox, they reduced the admin burden and cut down the time spent on their bimonthly STAR Awards initiative from 2 hours to 30-45 minutes.

“Promoting the Celebration hub and using it to assist managers to drive a culture of appreciation within their teams has been really valuable, as you don't have to send emails or do it over Teams.

Previously we used Microsoft Forms for our reward and recognition program, but having everything centralised in Perkbox, including the reporting tools, makes it much easier to pull, filter, and analyse data. Looking ahead, our plan is to integrate more information into the platform.”
