Enhancing their financial wellbeing strategy 

Looking to build out their financial wellbeing strategy and support employees with rising living costs, Colin and the team searched for a benefits provider that could accommodate their global workforce in a cost-effective way. 

“Many companies offer third-party benefits platforms, and we felt that was something we wanted to provide for our employees. Cost-of-living pressures affect everybody in some way, and we wanted to provide a resource to help our employees navigate through it that would be a part of our financial wellness strategy.”

You can’t reach space without a successful launch, and launching employee benefits is no different. Thanks to a positive initial relationship with the team, a simple setup, and ongoing support, over half of employees activated their accounts within the first 10 days. And after 90 days? Over 82%. 

“Adding employees to the platform was straightforward. Testing was intuitive—we could just log in, see everyone was there, and check everything was set up correctly. Since we had access to Perkbox after signing and pre-launch, we could explore and get to know the platform, making sure we were well-prepared for the launch.”

“Initial feedback showed that employees were excited about the launch, and it landed well. Our sign-up rates surpassed expectations—around 80% of the company—which is about 1,700 people.”

When it comes to engagement, it didn't take long for employees to dive in and start saving—a testament to the easy-to-use app and variety of discounts on offer. But an unexpected phenomenon that Colin and the team had not anticipated soon emerged… 

“Our employees organically, and without prompting, started using the recognition feature to send thank-you messages. It took off, even though we had not featured this in our initial comms, but people are using it.” 

“This all comes back to how intuitive the platform is. You can go in, play with it, and things just work and make sense. That is important because if that does not happen, employees will lose interest.”
